Cleveland, Ohio USA and Fulda, Germany – COTSWORKS® has opened an EMEA Sales and Technical Support office in Fulda, located near Frankfurt, Germany, to support harsh environment opto-electronic manufacturers in Europe and the Middle East. “Our commitment to the European and select Middle Eastern marketplaces has been in place for many years and this move demonstrates that. We plan to build on this effort with local manufacturing and test going forward” said Ken Applebaum, CEO of COTSWORKS. “We can better support major manufacturers of avionics and harsh environment networking systems as well as enabling those manufacturers to have greater input into our product designs” adds Kristian Moore, Director of EMEA Sales.
The team and presence in Germany will support the design, test, and manufacture of the company’s Platform of optical transceivers, termini, and cabling designed for harsh environments. COTSWORKS® specializes in optical network solutions for Commercial and Military Aerospace, Industrial Control, Sub-Sea and Networked Warfighter marketplaces. The company’s products support key features that the EMEA market demands, including metric thread installation hardware, environmental regulations, and European standard I/O. This move will advance the company’s support for developing new products and features that bridge the gap between commercial optics and military needs as well as between the corporate headquarters in the USA and the EMEA market needs.
